Roc Search are urgently recruiting for 2 x SEND roles for our Local Authority client in Kent to start ASAP. Both 6 month contracts.

MS Teams interviews will take place on Thursday 23rd May.


100% REMOTE -
will require the occasional trip to the office when required.
Hourly/Daily rate - negotiable
Inside IR35
Based on 37 hours a week

1. SEND Business Support Officer

  • To assist the work of the Hub Inclusion Teams by providing administrative support covering a wide range of activities . To act as the initial point of contact for customers accessing hub services and ensure high quality customer service for all those accessing the service. 
  • To manage requests and enquiries, frequently of a confidential and sensitive nature, from the public, clients, professionals and from other team/services within the council.  To support the Hub Teams to manage appointments and schedules effectively and efficiently. 
  • To ensure email and telephone communications are responded to swiftly, and that accurate records of all communications are maintained centrally.  
  1. SEND Area Inclusion Lead
  • To lead the Hub Attendance Officers to deliver a traded model of practice that is agreed by key partners. 
  • Work with the Attendance Team Manager to regularly review an effective strategy to improve attendance at schools and academies in the Borough. 
  • To support, advise and co-ordinate other stakeholders such as police, social care, health and other professionals.  
  • To produce and interpret complex data, make detailed assessments and share information with key partners at regular intervals.  
  • To contribute leading and developing local multi-agency forums and groups focused on raising standards in the quality of education, inclusion, behaviour and attendance. 
  • To support the development of training and professional conference offers to practitioners in the Borough.   To liaise with pupils, families, schools, academies and partner agencies to ensure that all pupils of compulsory school age, receive their entitlement to education.
