We are looking for a Buyer and a Senior Buyer to join our client in North Birmingham.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years' experience for the Buyer and 5+ years' experience for the Senior Buyer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake the strategic purchasing and buying of products, components and materials for manufacture
- Build supplier relationships and liaise confidently with the wider team to ensure the best decision is made to suit purchasing strategy
- Work with suppliers to negotiate costings and identify methods to increase purchasing power to use selected suppliers for the best deals
Key Attributes:
- 3 to 5 years + experience in a similar role working for a manufacturer or engineering organisation
- Ability to work with multiple suppliers and juggle multiple customers etc. with an analytical mind-set
- These opportunities offer support towards CIPS qualifications.
