An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Reading office, for a Legal and Commercial Manager to join the team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years' experience working in a relevant role.
Stand-alone role based at HQ, within the Operations function.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of standard terms of business/contracts.
- Commercial contracts
- International contracts
- Supplier contracts
- Contract negotiation
- Terms of business
- Manage contractual disputes with clients, candidates and suppliers
- Manage enforcement of post restriction covenants and any disputes related to post restriction covenants employees
- To insure that the company is compliant with all recruitment regulations
- Reporting to and briefing senior members of the business on legal issues.
- Reviewing client agreements, identifying risk and then carrying out subsequent contractual negotiations
- Advising on and auditing the company's compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements affecting the recruitment sector
- Reviewing and updating employment contracts
- Manage contractual disputes with clients, candidates and suppliers
- Manage enforcement of post restriction covenants and any disputes related to post restriction covenants employees
- Drafting and implementing new internal policies
- Establishing a risk register in respect of the key legal risks faced by the business and advising on ways in which to mitigate those risks.
- Managing the company's data protection policy, and ensuring procedures are up to date and fit for purpose
