4 years in the Best Companies Top 20
We recently attended the Sunday Times Best Companies Awards in London (20th February 2019). They celebrate the very best employers in the UK and there are over 700 entrants every year to be in the Top 100.
Having already received our 3 Star Best Companies Status for the 4th consecutive year, the awards evening revealed our position on the list. I am delighted that we were named the 18th Best Company to Work For in the UK!
That is our 4th year in the top 20!
I’m particularly proud of this achievement because it’s based on anonymous feedback from our staff. So I want to say a big thank you to EVERYONE that works at Roc for making it such a fantastic place to work.
A 'Special' Award for Learning & Development
I am also chuffed and incredibly proud that we won an award for the Best Learning & Development Programme in the UK!
The Best Companies Awards only gives out 7 ‘Special’ awards across various categories, but you can’t enter or submit yourself for them. They chose the winner based on the quality of overall entries and employee feedback!
It came as a complete surprise on the night, but it’s no surprise to all of us that our L&D team are getting the national recognition they deserve!
I want to say a massive well done and congratulations to Alisia Hobbs, Grace Ronayne and Jennifer Hughes for all of their hard work, dedication and excellence. Truly fantastic!
Also a massive thanks to everyone that is involved in, and supports, the training process - and of course a big thanks to every manager across the business.
Very proud. Well done all.
