Role Overview:
As a Senior PHP Developer, you will be instrumental in converting complex challenges into streamlined solutions through collaboration with various departments and team members.
Your passion for technology, coupled with a proactive approach to research and implementation, will drive our projects forward.
You will also be responsible for determining and disseminating best practices while continuously enhancing our software systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate intricate problems into efficient solutions in conjunction with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrate a fervent enthusiasm for technological advancements and actively engage in research to stay abreast of emerging trends.
- Champion best practices within the development team and provide mentorship and guidance to fellow developers.
- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement and refinement of our software systems.
- Utilize Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies in your workflow to ensure robustness and reliability.
- Leverage your debugging and analytical skills to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Employ Code Profiling tools to optimize code performance and enhance overall system efficiency.
- Experience with Kubernetes would be advantageous.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience in PHP development.
- Proficiency in cloud infrastructure, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Familiarity with various data stores such as MySQL, NoSQL (Cassandra), etc.
- Strong grasp of Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles.
- Demonstrated expertise in debugging and analytical problem-solving.
- Experience with Code Profiling tools for optimizing code performance.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes is a plus.
