Our Charity Partners

We believe it is our responsibility to not only provide a high-quality service, but also to be a positive force in the communities in which we operate. That’s why we’ve always done everything in our power to support local charities, being involved with everything from Santa Runs, Pride of Reading, local toy appeals and much, much more.

On top of this, each of our offices vote annually for a charity they would like to support. This means we have a dedicated charity partner for every one of our locations, allowing us to better organise charity events to support local causes.

Three Peaks Challenge

Roc Manchester took on The Three Peaks Challenge, scaling the highest peaks in the UK—Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon all in under 24 hours! This effort not only pushed their limits but also saw them raise an astonishing £3,315 for two incredible charities: New Life and Domestic Violence Assist. This achievement is nothing short of remarkable, and highlights what can be accomplished when we come together for a greater purpose.

Toy Appeal

Every Christmas, we hold a global toy appeal across our offices, dedicated to helping disadvantaged families ensure their children experience the magic of the season. We've collected thousands of toys and volunteered our time for initiatives like Reading Family Aid, Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital, Toys for Tots, SAFE, and Wood Street Mission, making sure Santa doesn't miss any child. Our Toy Appeal gives us immense pride, as it's our way of giving back to the communities where we live and work.

SUPPORTING SPORT IN MIND

Roc Olympics

Every year our offices hold a charity sports day to support Sport in Mind - a mental health and sport charity. This event not only promotes good health and wellbeing in the workplace but also raises money for a good cause. All proceeds from the event will go directly to Sport in Mind, an organisation that uses the power of sport and physical activity to improve the mental health and wellbeing of those affected by mental health challenges.

INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY

Women for Women

We believe in the importance of supporting and empowering women from all walks of life. On International Womens Day in particular, our goal is to raise funds for the charity Women 4 Women, which is committed to advancing women's rights and providing resources for women in need. Together, helping to make a difference and help create a world where women have equal access to opportunities and resources.

SUPPORTING NEW LIFE

Roc Fest

RocFest, Roc Search's long-awaited charity concert, made its triumphant return on August 18th at SUB89 in Reading after a ten-year hiatus. The energetic night of live music raised a spectacular line-up including our employees as well as local talent, who took the stage by storm, creating an unforgettable evening for all. With the help of our performers, employees and sponsors we raised £2,000 for New Life Special Care Babies.
