We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our key client in Swadlincote.
This role would suit someone with a proven background working in a Mechanical Design role in a fast-paced environment with 5 years+ experience. Any experience in Conveyors, Materials Handling, Special Purpose Machinery, Steel fabrication or similar would be preferable.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Mechanical Design Engineer will be designing bespoke project designs for customers from concept to completion.
- Making modifications to existing designs
- Liaising with production and manufacturing to ensure designs can be created and meet project deadlines
Key Attributes:
- Ideally experience designing conveyors, materials handling, mechanical handling, special purpose machinery, steel fabrication or similar would be preferable.
- Autodesk Inventor experience is required to hit the ground running
- Any hands on or shop floor experience earlier in the candidates career would be beneficial but not essential
