The role will support ongoing long term future programmes, working closely with engine development, vehicle integration, and project engineering teams.

This position is suited to a senior contractor with strong system ownership and responsibility, rather than purely CAD execution, and proven experience within heavy-duty vehicle environments.

  • Work with engine platforms and associated after-treatment technologies
  • Provide system-level engineering responsibility, including packaging, integration, and performance considerations
  • Produce and manage CAD designs and layouts using Creo
  • Collaborate with engine development, vehicle integration, and project engineering teams
  • Support on-site activities including design reviews, build support, commercial vehicle related work, and technical meetings
  • Contribute to handover and knowledge transfer during staff transition periods
  • Act as a senior technical point of contact within the after-treatment / exhaust discipline

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience as an After-Treatment, Exhaust, or Emissions Engineer
  • Strong background in heavy-duty diesel engines
  • Hands-on experience with after-treatment systems
  • Experience working on emissions-compliant exhaust systems
  • Strong CAD capability using Creo
  • Comfortable operating in a contract role with autonomy and system ownership

Desirable

  • Experience supporting engine or vehicle integration teams
  • Background spanning both design and project engineering

Additional Information
