Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Principal Business Analyst with specialist expertise in Endur, focused on Back Office processes for Power and Gas trading. The position plays a key role in supporting the evolution of trading operations and financial control within a complex global commodities environment.

You'll work as part of a hybrid delivery function, leading Back Office analysis and solution design, or supporting parallel workstreams as needed. The role involves close collaboration with trading, risk, operations, and finance teams, requiring a strong balance of business knowledge and technical capability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Back Office analysis and Endur solution design across Power and Gas trading.
  • Deliver across the full deal lifecycle: confirmations, settlements, invoicing, and scheduling.
  • Configure and support modules including Back Office Desktop, Accounting Desktop, Tax Manager, and Hedge Analyzer.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, production-grade Endur configurations.
  • Partner with trading, risk, and technology teams to define and deliver enhancements.
  • Own change management process, ensuring documentation is complete and accessible.
  • Develop and implement structured test plans to guarantee release quality.
  • Work within an Agile framework alongside internal and external delivery teams.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders across operations, risk, and finance.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of Endur experience, with a strong focus on Back Office.
  • Expert understanding of physical and financial Power & Gas trading.
  • Familiarity with non-linear products and how these are handled in Endur.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles, ERP integration (e.g. SAP), ledgers, and reconciliations.
  • Hands-on with Endur modules such as APM, TPM, DMS, Connex, and EOD Workflows.
  • Experience with CMM, DevOps practices, and cloud-based Endur deployment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable

  • Prior experience supporting Endur upgrades and large-scale implementations.
  • Exposure to LNG, renewables, or oil alongside Gas & Power.
  • Understanding of logistics, scheduling, and volume actualisation.
  • Strong academic background, ideally a Bachelor's in Accounting.
  • Additional qualifications such as CPA, MBA, or Master's in Accounting.
