A specialist engineering manufacturer designing and producing high-performance tracked systems and off-highway machinery. The company works closely with agricultural and land-based industries, supplying equipment used in demanding environments across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join the team.

The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you will support customers nationally, carrying out installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of tracked systems and related machinery. You will work directly with farming and agricultural customers, providing hands-on technical support and ensuring equipment performs reliably in real-world field conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver on-site servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance of tracked systems and machinery.

  • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment on farms and agricultural sites across the UK.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting to customers, dealers, and operators.

  • Complete accurate service reports and documentation after each visit.

  • Collaborate with in-house engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues.

  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

  • UK-wide travel required (company van and tools provided).

About You

  • Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Technician, or similar mechanical/electrical role.

  • Strong background in agricultural machinery-such as tractors, loaders, telehandlers, or farm equipment.

  • Solid understanding of mechanical systems and hydraulics.

  • Able to diagnose faults independently and deliver high-quality work on customer sites.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, especially with agricultural clients.

  • Full UK driving licence essential.
