Roc Search is partnering with an innovative, high-growth SaaS start-up to identify an experienced Fractional Chief Technology Officer (CTO). This is a pivotal role for a business that has solid technical foundations and is now looking to scale its product offering and commercial impact.

Duration: 6-12 months+
Hybrid - to be onsite regularly/when needed in Central London
Rate: Open to discussion
Outside IR35 - SOW

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy & Roadmapping
    Define and prioritise product development initiatives across multiple potential product lines. Create a strategic technology roadmap that supports long-term commercial objectives.

  • Go-to-Market & Commercialisation
    Guide the shift from consultancy-based services to a product-led model. Validate product-market fit through demos, establish pricing strategies, and support the development of scalable go-to-market plans.

  • Team Leadership & Culture
    Build and mentor high-performing product and engineering teams. Foster a culture of accountability, agility, and delivery excellence suited to a dynamic scale-up environment.

  • Investment & Funding Support
    Provide strategic input on fundraising efforts, including investor readiness, pitch deck development, and connecting with relevant funding partners or networks.

  • Operational Oversight
    Support refinement of existing infrastructure with a focus on scalability, monitoring, security, and long-term resilience as the organisation grows.

  • Strategic Advisory
    Serve as a trusted advisor to the founder and leadership team, offering insight on scaling, product-market alignment, and avoiding common pitfalls in tech growth journeys.
