Inspection Technician
£30,000 DOE
Mon-Thurs (4-day week)
My client are a manufacturing business located in Gloucester, they are currently looking to appoint an Inspection Technician to carry out inspections across raw materials, manufactured parts, assemblies, and final pre-despatch using conventional tools and manual CMM.
Responsibilities:
- Goods-in, first-off and final inspections
- Calibration management (internal & external)
- Raising/closing quality issues via ERP
- Supporting FAIRs, concessions & audits (ISO9001:2015)
Required Skills:
- Strong mechanical engineering / inspection background
- Experience within ISO9001 environment
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Skilled with inspection tools (metric & imperial)
- Desirable: internal auditing, apprenticeship trained
