An opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading international manufacturer of commercial vehicles. This contract role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge vehicle technologies within a modern, supportive engineering environment.
Roc Search is partnering with this highly recognised organisation to recruit an experienced design engineer to support specialist vehicle projects, with a strong focus on delivering right-first-time mechanical design.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality mechanical designs to support multiple projects across the site.
- Develop and install brake system components.
- Deliver mechanical designs within vehicle assembly trees.
- Support both diesel and electric vehicle platforms.
- Contribute to the electrification of heavy commercial vehicles.
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong experience using Creo CAD.
- Background in automotive engineering or a related industry.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Interest in new and emerging vehicle technologies.
