Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our key client in Luton

This role would suit someone with a proven background working in a Mechanical Design role in a fast-paced environment with 5 years+ experience with any experience in Conveyors, Materials Handling, Special Purpose Machinery, bespoke Machinery, Automation or similar would be preferable.


Key Responsibilities:

· The Mechanical Design Engineer will be designing bespoke project designs for customers from concept to completion.
· Making modifications to existing designs
· Liaising with production and manufacturing to ensure designs can be created and meet project deadlines

Key Attributes:

· Ideally experience designing conveyors, materials handling, mechanical handling, special purpose machinery or similar would be preferable.
· Solidworks is preferable but would consider another CAD package if someone has the industry related experience
