Mechanical Fitters - Installation Project - South East
We are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for a prestigious project at a major South East airport, working with a leading company specialising in conveyor systems and mechanical installations.
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals to work with a reputable organisation, gain valuable airside experience, and secure a contract with the potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and assemble conveyor systems and related components
- Read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions
- Safely operate hand and power tools
- Follow site-specific safety protocols
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet installation deadlines
- Provide support to supervisors and managers as required
Experience
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter/Installer in an airport environment is preferred
- Airside security clearance is required (can be arranged)
- Candidates must provide a continuous employment history
- Security passes will be issued to eligible candidates after vetting
