Piping Superintendent / Piping Supervisor - Long-Term Contract (East Yorkshire, Outside IR35)

We are currently looking for an experienced Piping Superintendent or Piping Supervisor to support a major long-term project in the chemical and process industries. This is a contract opportunity outside of IR35, offering competitive rates, autonomy, and long-term potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all piping activities on-site, ensuring compliance with design, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Lead and coordinate piping crews, subcontractors, and vendors to deliver work safely, on time, and to required quality standards.
• Monitor daily progress and provide updates to project management.
• Ensure proper installation, testing, and commissioning of piping systems.
• Resolve piping-related technical issues, clashes, or delays in collaboration with engineering and construction teams.
• Conduct inspections and ensure all piping works adhere to relevant codes and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Piping Superintendent or Piping Supervisor role, preferably within the chemical or process industries.
• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
• Sound understanding of isometric drawings, P&IDs, material specifications, and welding procedures.
• Familiarity with industry codes such as ASME, API, and relevant HSE regulations.
• Immediate availability is preferred.
