Product Executive

Location: Milton Keynes (HQ)
Reports to: Engineering Manager

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Product Executive to join a dynamic and well-established organisation within the lighting and building solutions sector.

This is a pivotal role acting as the bridge between Engineering, Marketing and Sales, translating market needs into clear product documentation, business cases and successful go-to-market strategies.

You will support delivery of the product roadmap throughout the full New Product Development (NPD) lifecycle - from concept through to launch - ensuring products are delivered on time, within budget and aligned to market requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead product readiness for the launch of new products, systems and services.

  • Translate market requirements into robust product definitions, pricing strategies and positioning.

  • Support the introduction of competitive products in line with the agreed roadmap, on schedule and within budget.

  • Chair weekly project meetings, ensuring clear actions, deliverables and timelines.

  • Work closely with Marketing and Sales teams to define positioning, target applications and commercial objectives.

  • Maintain technical accuracy of product specifications and claims across literature and marketing materials.

  • Support product content and technical readiness for exhibitions, events and product launches.

  • Contribute as a key member of cross-functional product development teams throughout the NPD process.

About You

We're looking for someone who is commercially aware, technically curious and highly organised.

You will ideally have:

  • A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline

  • 1+ years' experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, Technical Marketing or a similar role

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • The ability to influence and collaborate with multiple stakeholders

  • Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • A proactive, results-driven mindset with high attention to detail

  • Confidence leading meetings and presenting to varied audiences

  • The ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving technical environment
