Commercial Project Manager - NHS Software Delivery

We are seeking a driven and experienced Commercial Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex software solutions to NHS clients. This is a key role within a growing technology business dedicated to improving healthcare outcomes through digital transformation.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle - from planning and execution through to successful completion - ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction. You'll act as the key point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders, including NHS Trusts, with full ownership of commercial reporting, budget control, and contractual compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of multiple NHS software implementation projects
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets
• Own commercial reporting and ensure financial performance targets are met
• Manage stakeholder relationships across internal teams and NHS clients
• Ensure adherence to governance processes and regulatory requirements
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
• Ensure clear documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
• Promote continuous improvement and knowledge sharing

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience delivering software projects within the NHS or wider healthcare sector
• Strong commercial acumen and budget management experience
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills at all levels
• Deep understanding of project delivery methodologies (Agile, PRINCE2, Waterfall)
• Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors
