Quality Technician - Burton upon Trent - £29-31k
My client are a Manufacturing business looking to take on a Quality Technician due to growth. The following is required:
- Experience within a Quality Technician/Inspector role
- Experience with machined parts (preferred)
- Strong desire to learn & keen to develop and evolve knowledge and skills
- Effective communicator that can articulate the importance of attaining a quality product that reflects our brand
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team orientated with the ability to work within a collaborative environment
- Ability to be flexible when required
Responsibilities
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections in support of our product quality plans and non- conformance control.
- Support calibration management system.
- Working with our supply chain to help support non-conformance.
- Attend training workshops to enhance knowledge of quality control and quality management.
- Help maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and product certification requirements.
This role will be inspection heavy at first, with the idea to progress the successful candidate through to Quality Engineer level and onwards in the future.
