Senior Finance Analyst | Manufacturing & Operations

Clevedon, UK (Hybrid)

Are you a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment?
Do you enjoy getting under the skin of operations, challenging the numbers, and influencing how a business performs?

If so this could be your next move.

The Opportunity

We're hiring a Senior Finance Analyst to partner closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations teams at site level. This is a highly visible role where finance meets the factory floor - driving insight, performance, and smarter decision-making.

Reporting into the Product Company Controller, you'll be a trusted advisor, not just a number-cruncher.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Acting as a finance business partner to operational leaders

  • Owning manufacturing P&L reporting and detailed variance analysis (labour, materials, overheads, yield, scrap)

  • Analysing production order variances (PPV, labour & overhead absorption) and monitoring WIP

  • Maintaining strong control over inventory valuation, accuracy, and provisioning

  • Building and maintaining SAP reports for operations stakeholders

  • Supporting audits and strengthening internal controls

  • Driving continuous improvement across manufacturing and engineering processes

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) or equivalent manufacturing finance experience

  • Strong background in manufacturing, cost accounting, or operational finance

  • Excellent analytical, modelling, and business-partnering skills

  • Advanced Excel skills; Power BI or similar tools a plus

  • SAP / ERP experience (FI/CO, PP, MM ideal but not essential)

  • Confident communicator who can influence senior operational stakeholders

Don't tick every box? That's okay - we value capability, mindset, and potential.

Why Join?

  • Hybrid working (site-based in Clevedon with flexibility)

  • A culture of trust, accountability, and collaboration

  • Real opportunities for career growth and lifelong learning

  • Competitive compensation, benefits, and wellbeing support

  • Work for a global, high-tech manufacturing leader driving innovation worldwide
