Senior Software Engineer

Our client, an AI SaaS company based in Kansas City, are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about AI and eager to contribute to innovative solutions. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our AI-driven applications and services. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology that is set to transform the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain serverless and server-based APIs using Python and Ruby on Rails.
• Build and enhance frontend applications using React.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI agents into our platforms.
• Develop and implement native PMS integrations for our scheduling agent.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
• Stay updated on emerging AI technologies and industry trends to drive innovation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python or Ruby on Rails.
• Strong experience with JavaScript and frontend development.
• Infrastructure experience
• Extensive experience with API development and integration.
• Familiarity with serverless architecture.
• Passionate about AI and its applications in product development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Practice Management Systems (PMS) and their integrations.

• Background in CRM and marketing automation platforms.
