SHEQ Manager

We are looking for a SHEQ / Health & Safety Manager to join our client in Birmingham.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' + experience in a similar role working for an Engineering or Manufacturing Company previously as either a SHEQ Manager, Health & Safety Manager or Quality Manager with strong H&S experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• The SHEQ / Health & Safety Manager will be overseeing all Health & Safety regulations and operations both on site and overseeing H&S for product installations on customer sites with regular travel to client sites nationally.
• Collaborating cross functionally with other team members including Project Managers, Site Supervisors and clients to employ SHEQ requirements across all project sites
• Undertaking risk assessments, site inspections and audits for the in house manufacturing facility and on project sites
• Ensure all procedures adhere to ISO 9001, 45001 and 27001. Work towards and gain the accreditation for ISO 14001.

Key Attributes:

• Experience working in a SHEQ, QHSE or Health and Safety role previously in an Engineering/ Manufacturing company
• NEBOSH qualification is essential IOSH would be desirable as well
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 27001
• In-depth knowledge of UK health and safety legislation, including COSHH, PUWER, LOLER, and CDM Regulations
• Willingness to travel nationwide when necessary
