Structural Designer (Contract) - Hybrid Working
Are you a skilled Structural Designer looking to work on high-profile projects? Join our client's team on a contract basis, delivering innovative structural steelwork designs across material handling and process related industries. Contribute across the full project lifecycle, from concept to delivery, applying specialist industrial engineering expertise to make a real impact.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop structural steelwork to project briefs
- Produce 3D models, drawings, and fabrication documentation
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practice
- Contribute to design reviews, peer checks, and value engineering
Skills & Experience:
- Strong 3D CAD skills (Tekla Structures)
- Expertise in structural steel detailing and fabrication processes
- Proven experience in Material Handling, Process, or Industrial environments
- Strong technical understanding of steelwork and concrete structures
- Knowledge of design principles, DfMA, and technical documentation
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
