About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, analysis, and review of structural systems for a variety of building and infrastructure projects. This role offers opportunities to work collaboratively with architects, designers, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
Perform structural analysis and design for buildings, foundations, and various structural components.
Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
Review and interpret architectural and engineering plans.
Conduct site visits and inspections to evaluate existing conditions and verify construction compliance.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure design intent, code compliance, and project objectives.
Assist in preparing project documentation, proposals, and cost estimates.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and national building codes and standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain it within a defined timeframe (EIT acceptable for junior roles).
2-12 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
Proficiency with structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD, RISA, RAM, or similar).
Strong understanding of materials including steel, concrete, masonry, and timber.
Working knowledge of applicable codes (IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI, etc.).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
