Tier 2 IT Support Engineer (Contract, Cheadle)
Location: Cheadle (On-site 5 days/week, 1-2 days WFH after probation)
Contract: 6 months, £200/day (Outside IR35)
Interview: 1-stage, face-to-face next week in Cheadle
Roc Search is recruiting a Service Desk Engineer to join a rapidly growing Managed-Service Provider team in Cheadle. This is a 6-month project focused on clearing a backlog of support tickets. The role involves handling existing support tickets from external clients and taking them through to resolution, providing both reactive and proactive support to prevent recurring issues.
Essential Skills:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in 2nd/3rd line support
- Desktop, server, and Microsoft 365 support, including Exchange Online, Entra ID, Intune, Teams Admin, and SharePoint
- Experience in MSP environments or managing a high ticket volume
- Familiarity with Autotask PSA, Datto RMM, and IT Glue is desirable
