About the Role:
We are seeking a Workflow Business Analyst to join a leading financial services organisation on a 12-month contract basis. In this role, you will lead the analysis and design of workflow and reporting solutions, working closely with stakeholders and agile development teams to ensure business requirements are accurately captured and delivered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead requirements gathering with business stakeholders
- Define and document business processes and workflows ("As-Is" and "To-Be")
- Work collaboratively in Agile/Scrum teams to ensure accurate delivery
- Write user stories and develop use case scenarios
- Create and execute test plans, supporting QA and UAT phases
- Provide 3rd line production support where needed
- Use SQL (T-SQL/PL-SQL) to support analysis and reporting requirements
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on workflow, finance, and reporting
- 3+ years' experience in wholesale banking systems
- Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Solid understanding of BA tools, techniques, and documentation standards
- Experience in process mapping and optimisation
- Skilled in user story development and test planning
- Proficient in T-SQL and/or PL-SQL for data analysis
- Strong understanding of business processes, finance, and organisational structures
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
