Nyomi Miah

I joined Roc Search in 2021 as an Associate Consultant at our Reading HQ, after a seven years working in the hospitality and events industry. I started out on the Engineering Permanent desk and quickly progressed to Principal Recruitment Consultant within my first 18 months.

Towards the end of 2025, I was given the opportunity to help rebuild our Talent Acquisition team. I successfully hired my colleague Keeley as an Associate Talent Acquisition Consultant and found that I really enjoyed working closely with the leadership team and being part of the wider growth of the business. Making the move into Talent Acquisition felt like a natural next step for me. 

Now, as Lead Talent & Engagement Consultant, I support Roc Search’s growth by helping us expand our teams and continue to build a strong, positive culture. I work closely with our senior leadership team to support with key hiring needs, as well as utilising my events background in order to drive employee engagement and support the organisation of social events, charity initiatives, sales days and more.

Outside of work, I’m a big foodie after meeting my professional chef fiancé in 2017! I also love live music (my favourite band is Bring Me the Horizon), F1, gaming, cooking and a good pub quiz with friends.
