Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Cisco Network Engineer in enterprise environments.

  • Strong expertise in Cisco routing and switching (Catalyst, Nexus, ISR, ASR).

  • Experience with Cisco ASA, Firepower, or Meraki.

  • Deep knowledge of IP networking (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, NAT, ACLs, DNS, DHCP).

  • Experience supporting high-availability networks in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, government).

  • Strong understanding of network security, segmentation, and compliance (NHS/NIST/ISO).

  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Cisco Prime).

  • Comfortable with remote troubleshooting and hybrid infrastructure models.
