Electrical Commissioning Engineer
North Yorkshire (UK Travel)
45,000 - £65,000 (DOE) + Overtime + Allowances
We're working with a well-established global engineering company delivering complex projects across the mining and heavy industrial sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their project delivery team with a dedicated Electrical Commissioning Engineer.
The Role:
A hands-on position supporting installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems across UK project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Commissioning electrical systems and machinery on-site
Testing, fault finding, and system validation
Working with PLCs, drives, and control panels
Supporting installation, snagging, and modifications
Requirements
Commissioning experience in heavy industry (e.g. mining, oil & gas, power, rail)
Experience with Siemens S7 PLCs (1200/1500)
Electrical engineering background (HNC/HND or apprenticeship)
Willingness to travel across the UK
Package:
£45,000 - £65,000 salary
Overtime + site uplift
Car allowance + expenses
30 days holiday
