Contract Opportunity - Immediate Start - Initial short-term contract potential to extend
We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join a technically challenging topside brownfield project. This is a remote contract opportunity working with a multi-disciplined team of specialists delivering engineering and design solutions in the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Structural analysis and design for topside and brownfield projects
- Prepare calculations and documentation using Mathcad
- Model and analyse structures in STAAD
- Support project delivery from concept through detailed design
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integrity and compliance
- Contribute to technical reviews, quality assurance, and HSE compliance
Essential Requirements:
- Proven structural engineering experience in topside or brownfield projects
- Strong proficiency in Mathcad and STAAD
- Solid understanding of structural design principles, codes, and standards
- Experience in offshore or heavy industrial environments preferred
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
