Hi,
I'm currently working on an exciting contract opportunity for a Piping Designer to support their engineering team.
This is a strong opportunity to work on real-world industrial systems, focusing on piping layouts and flow control equipment across high-spec projects.
Role: Piping Designer (Plant 3D / Inventor)
Location: Remote
Rate: £55 per hour
Contract: 3-6 months
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce 3D piping layouts using Plant 3D or Inventor
- Generate GA drawings, isometrics, and fabrication drawings
- Design pipe routing, supports, and equipment layouts
- Work closely with mechanical and project engineers
- Interpret P&IDs and ensure designs meet industry standards
Key Requirements:
- Strong experience in piping / plant design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D or Autodesk Inventor
- Experience producing detailed manufacturing drawings
- Ability to work within industrial environments (oil & gas, water, or similar preferred)
