SaaS Technical Architect

Technical Architect - SaaS & AI Solutions
Reading- Hybrid working- Up to £100k

A fast-growing digital transformation consultancy is seeking a challenge-driven Technical Architect to play a key role in shaping next-generation SaaS products and enterprise solutions.

As a Technical Architect, you will lead the design and delivery of scalable, cloud-native SaaS solutions and enterprise platforms. You'll combine hands-on technical expertise with strategic thinking to guide both product development and client-facing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead product development teams in building new modules for AI-powered SaaS platforms focused on modernisation and intelligent data management
• Define and deliver technical architecture for cloud-based solutions (Azure, M365, SharePoint)
• Provide technical leadership on the adoption and integration of AI/ML technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional, globally distributed teams and share knowledge on emerging technologies
• Support pre-sales activities including demos, webinars, and technical presentations
• Work closely with delivery teams to ensure high-quality, scalable and secure solutions

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong background in software development with progression into architecture roles
• Expertise in C#/.NET, SQL Server, and modern web technologies (e.g. React)
• Proven experience designing and delivering SaaS products, ideally for cloud marketplaces
• Solid knowledge of Azure services, APIs, and serverless technologies
• Good understanding of AI/ML concepts and applications
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps
• Strong technical leadership and solution design capability
• Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation (specifications, proposals, etc.)
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
