Construction Superintendent - Contract

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to support construction activities at a major chemical manufacturing facility.

Working within a live industrial environment, you will oversee contractors, coordinate daily site activities, and ensure works are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities on site.
• Coordinate contractors and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient delivery.
• Monitor progress, quality, and compliance with project specifications.
• Review RAMS, permits, and construction documentation.
• Liaise with project, engineering, and HSE teams to resolve site issues.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with CDM and site procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Construction Superintendent within chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, energy, or other heavy industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of construction management and contractor supervision.
• Experience working on live COMAH or regulated industrial sites.
• SMSTS and CSCS Card essential.
