Data & SQL Integration Developer

Data Integration & SQL Developer- Milton Keynes (Hybrid - 2 days onsite)- £50-55k depending on experience

We're working with a growing organisation looking to bring in a Data Integration & SQL Developer to support the design and delivery of critical data interfaces across internal systems and third-party platforms.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with structured data, solving integration challenges, and collaborating with both technical teams and stakeholders.

The Role

You'll play a key role in building and maintaining data integrations, ensuring data flows are reliable, secure, and efficient.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing data interfaces for importing/exporting data between systems
• Writing, optimising, and maintaining T-SQL stored procedures, queries, and views
• Producing detailed interface specifications (data mapping, transformations, file formats, schedules)
• Collaborating with consultants and stakeholders to define technical requirements
• Monitoring and troubleshooting data flows, resolving issues quickly and effectively
• Maintaining clear documentation for integration processes and operational procedures
• Ensuring solutions meet high standards for security, reliability, and data quality

What We're Looking For

Core Skills & Experience:

• Strong SQL Server and T-SQL skills, including performance tuning
• Proven experience building system integrations with structured data
• Ability to write clear, detailed technical specifications
• Experience with file formats such as CSV, XML, and JSON
• Knowledge of secure data transfer methods (e.g. SFTP)
• Solid understanding of relational databases and data transformation techniques
• Experience handling sensitive/personal data in a secure and compliant environment
