Field Service Engineer ( Electricaly biased) | Wiltshire
I'm currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer opportunity with a specialist manufacturer of high-precision machinery supplying advanced engineering and manufacturing sectors.
This position would suit an electrically biased engineer with strong mechanical fault-finding skills who enjoys a varied role supporting complex machinery and working closely with customers and internal engineering teams.
The role will involve:
* Servicing, maintaining and troubleshooting high-precision machinery
* Electrical fault-finding alongside mechanical and pneumatic maintenance
* Providing remote technical support and occasional on-site customer support
* Working closely with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues and support continuous improvements
* Writing service reports and supporting machine installations and maintenance activities
Key details:
* £38,000 - £45,000 salary+overtime
* Primarily office/workshop based
* Occasional UK & European travel
* Precision engineering / automation environment
* Training provided on specialist equipment
Ideal backgrounds could include:
- Field Service Engineer
- Maintenance Engineer
- Electro-Mechanical Engineer
- Automation Engineer
- Special Purpose Machinery / Industrial Machinery experience
