Chief of Staff Execution Lead- Wallingford (Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite)- Permanent- £60k

We're recruiting for a Chief of Staff Execution Lead to work closely with senior leadership, taking ownership of high priority strategic projects and ensuring key business initiatives move from concept through to successful delivery.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving the way organisations operate, and working across multiple teams to drive execution.

The Role

You'll be responsible for leading critical internal projects, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring actions are completed on time. You'll bring structure to complex initiatives, remove obstacles, and implement practical improvements that increase operational efficiency.

This is a highly visible role where you'll work closely with senior leaders, influencing outcomes and ensuring priorities are translated into action.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of high priority internal projects from initial scoping through to successful delivery and handover.
  • Track actions, owners and deadlines across leadership meetings, following up proactively until completion.
  • Identify risks and blockers early, escalating where appropriate with clear recommendations.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement practical improvements through better processes, automation and technology.
  • Help establish and embed best practice for project delivery, operational excellence and execution across the business.
  • Partner with operational teams and department leaders to ensure projects integrate seamlessly into day to day business activities.

Essential skills:

  • At least 5 years' experience in a fast paced business environment.
  • A proven track record of delivering projects from inception through to completion.
  • Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and driving progress across different teams.
  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to remove barriers and keep projects moving.
  • Confidence communicating with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
  • The resilience to follow up, challenge constructively and maintain momentum until objectives are achieved.
  • Sound judgement on when to resolve issues independently and when escalation is required.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365.
  • Workflow and project management platforms.
  • Process automation tools.
  • AI-powered productivity tools and a willingness to adopt new technologies quickly.
  • The ability to build practical solutions that improve the way teams work.
