The Role
As a Commissioning Engineer, you'll be responsible for commissioning water treatment systems from mechanical completion through to full operational handover. Working closely with project teams, you'll ensure equipment is commissioned safely, efficiently, and in line with customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Commission water treatment systems at customer sites across the UK.
- Support the commissioning process from equipment handover through to system start-up.
- Carry out functional testing, fault finding, and system optimisation.
- Work alongside project managers, controls engineers, and site teams to deliver projects on time.
- Contribute to commissioning plans, risk assessments, control philosophies, and technical documentation.
- Ensure all commissioning activities comply with health, safety, and quality standards.
- Provide technical support to customers during commissioning and handover.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous commissioning experience within the water treatment, chemical, or pharmaceutical industries.
- A good electrical understanding (preferred).
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- A solid understanding of health and safety practices on industrial sites.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A customer-focused approach and willingness to learn.
- A full UK driving licence.
