PHP Software Developer - Mid Level (Flexible Working)
Salary: £40,000 - £48,000
Location: South Yorkshire/Hybrid (2 days per week office based)

As a PHP Software Developer, you'll be part of a collaborative tech team with real ownership and long-term growth potential.
Day-to-day
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP & Laravel
- JavaScript for frontend & API integration
- Maintain & optimise MySQL databases
- Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues and improve performance
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners
- Product enhancements
- Use Claude Code for code review, improvements, documentation, troubleshooting and general productivity
Tech Stack & Required Skills
- PHP
- Laravel
- JavaScript
- AWS or Azure
- AI tools (Claude Code or similar)
- Collaborative with strong communication skills
- Strong willingness to learn
