Portfolio Support Manager- IT Change & Transformation

York (Hybrid working, 2 days a week onsite)- Permanent- Up to £60k depending on experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Portfolio Support Manager to join a growing organisation undergoing significant technology and business transformation. This role is ideal for a portfolio, PMO, or project governance professional who enjoys bringing structure, visibility, and control to complex change programmes while leading and developing a high-performing support team.

Essential skills required-

• Experience leading a PMO, Portfolio Support, or Project Support function within a complex organisation.
• Strong understanding of project and programme management methodologies including PRINCE2, MSP, PMP, Agile, or equivalent.
• Proven experience designing and implementing effective governance frameworks.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• The ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders with confidence and credibility.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex information into meaningful insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using project management and reporting tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Power BI, or similar.
• A relevant project management qualification (PRINCE2 Practitioner, MSP, PMP, Agile certification, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
