Senior Data Engineer - Bristol (Hybrid, 3 Days Onsite)- Permanent- £80k-90k depending on experience

We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our client's growing team in Bristol, working in a hybrid model with three days per week onsite. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in building and scaling modern data platforms that power critical business insights.

As a senior member of the team, you'll design and deliver robust data pipelines, optimise large-scale data processing, and help shape best practices across the data engineering function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures
• Work extensively with PySpark and Databricks to process large, complex datasets
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions
• Drive performance optimisation and ensure data reliability and integrity
• Contribute to architectural decisions and mentor junior engineers

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience in data engineering at a senior level
• Hands-on expertise with PySpark and Databricks
• Proven ability to work with large-scale, distributed data systems
• Solid understanding of modern data architectures and best practices
