Founding Account Executive

Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid or Remote Considered)
Stage: Series A
Reports to: CEO / VP of Sales
Compensation: $130,000-$170,000 Base | $260,000-$340,000 OTE + Equity

What You'll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle from discovery through close.
  • Partner with founders and leadership to refine our go-to-market strategy.
  • Generate pipeline through a combination of inbound leads, outbound prospecting, and referrals.
  • Conduct discovery calls, product demos, and commercial negotiations with prospects.
  • Develop repeatable sales processes and provide feedback on messaging, positioning, and product roadmap.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to ensure successful customer onboarding and expansion.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM hygiene.
  • Serve as a voice of the customer and help define our ideal customer profile.

What We're Looking For

  • 3-7 years of closing experience in B2B SaaS or technology sales.
  • Experience selling to mid-market and enterprise customers.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quota and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and wearing multiple hats.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to help build processes, not just follow them.
  • Experience working in early-stage startups (Seed to Series B) is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with modern sales tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Gong, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

Nice to Have

  • Experience as one of the first sales hires at a startup.
  • Experience selling AI, developer, or technical products.
  • Familiarity with MEDDICC, Challenger, or other sales methodologies.
  • Ability to influence product direction through customer feedback.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $130,000-$170,000 base salary
