Founding Account Executive
Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid or Remote Considered)
Stage: Series A
Reports to: CEO / VP of Sales
Compensation: $130,000-$170,000 Base | $260,000-$340,000 OTE + Equity
What You'll Do
- Own the full sales cycle from discovery through close.
- Partner with founders and leadership to refine our go-to-market strategy.
- Generate pipeline through a combination of inbound leads, outbound prospecting, and referrals.
- Conduct discovery calls, product demos, and commercial negotiations with prospects.
- Develop repeatable sales processes and provide feedback on messaging, positioning, and product roadmap.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to ensure successful customer onboarding and expansion.
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM hygiene.
- Serve as a voice of the customer and help define our ideal customer profile.
What We're Looking For
- 3-7 years of closing experience in B2B SaaS or technology sales.
- Experience selling to mid-market and enterprise customers.
- Proven track record of exceeding quota and driving revenue growth.
- Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and wearing multiple hats.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to help build processes, not just follow them.
- Experience working in early-stage startups (Seed to Series B) is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with modern sales tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Gong, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Nice to Have
- Experience as one of the first sales hires at a startup.
- Experience selling AI, developer, or technical products.
- Familiarity with MEDDICC, Challenger, or other sales methodologies.
- Ability to influence product direction through customer feedback.

Compensation & Benefits
- $130,000-$170,000 base salary
