Founding Sales Development Representative (Cybersecurity)

Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid or Remote Considered)
Stage: Series A
Reports to: Head of Sales / CEO
Compensation: $75,000-$95,000 Base | $110,000-$140,000 OTE + Equity

What You'll Do

  • Drive top-of-funnel pipeline through outbound prospecting.
  • Identify and engage security and infrastructure decision-makers.
  • Run multi-channel outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn, social).
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads and book meetings for AEs/founders.
  • Partner with leadership to refine ICP, messaging, and positioning.
  • Maintain strong CRM hygiene and pipeline accuracy.
  • Experiment with new outbound motions and messaging strategies.
  • Provide structured feedback from the field to sales and product teams.

What We're Looking For

  • 1-3 years of SDR/BDR experience in B2B SaaS (cybersecurity a plus).
  • Strong communication and written messaging skills.
  • High level of drive, curiosity, and coachability.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, early-stage environments.
  • Desire to grow into an Account Executive role.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Apollo, HubSpot, Gong.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to cybersecurity, IT, DevOps, or infrastructure sales motions.
  • Experience at Seed to Series B startups.
  • Proven ability to consistently exceed activity or meeting targets.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $75,000-$95,000 base
