Founding Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid)
Stage: Series A
Reports to: CEO / Head of Sales

What You'll Do

  • Own top-of-funnel pipeline generation through outbound prospecting.
  • Identify and target ideal customer profiles across mid-market and enterprise accounts.
  • Execute multi-channel outreach via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other creative channels.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound opportunities and schedule meetings for Account Executives and founders.
  • Partner closely with Marketing and Product to refine messaging and positioning.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline activity.
  • Experiment with new prospecting approaches and help establish repeatable outbound processes.
  • Gather market feedback and share customer insights with leadership.

What We're Looking For

  • 1-3 years of SDR, BDR, or sales experience in B2B SaaS or technology.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly motivated with a desire to learn and grow into a closing role.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and building processes from scratch.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A growth mindset and willingness to test, iterate, and improve.
  • Experience using modern sales tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Gong is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Experience at a Seed to Series B startup.
  • Familiarity with outbound sales methodologies and account-based prospecting.
  • Experience selling technical, AI, or developer-focused products.
  • Demonstrated success exceeding activity or pipeline goals.

  • Help establish a repeatable outbound motion.
  • Become a trusted partner to leadership and the broader go-to-market team.
  • Contribute to the hiring and onboarding of future SDRs as the team scales.
